Wagglynn is a small, deliberately picky pet shop run out of Frederick, Maryland. Here is how it started, and what we will and won't put on the shelf.

Chapter one

It began with a drawer full of things that didn't work

A squeaker that lasted one afternoon. A harness that rubbed a bald patch behind the shoulder. A tub of calming chews that calmed absolutely nobody. Somewhere between the fourth failed toy and a return label we couldn't find, the idea for Wagglynn turned up.

Not a grand idea. A stubborn one. Stop buying whatever the algorithm shouts loudest about, and keep only the things that genuinely earn a place in a home.

Chapter two

If it wouldn't survive our own floor, it doesn't get a page

Everything here goes through the same unglamorous test: does it hold up to a real dog, a real cat, a real week? Chewed. Washed. Dropped down the stairs. Refilled at six in the morning. Ignored for a fortnight, then loved again.

The things that pass get listed. The things that don't go back in the box — quietly, without a discount code to soften the blow.

Flea and tick, joint support, gut health — this is where hype does the most damage, and where a bad buy costs more than money.

So we stock the names your vet already says out loud. We print the weight and age ranges plainly instead of burying them. And we'll tell you to ring your vet before you start, even when that costs us the sale. No miracle claims. No mystery blends.

Wagglynn is run out of Frederick, Maryland, by people who are outnumbered by their own pets. We're not trying to become the biggest pet store on the internet. We're trying to be the one you don't have to think twice about.
