Total protection against fleas and ticks
Fleas aren't just annoying — they're a genuine health problem for your cat. Frontline Plus for Cats is a fast-acting, long-lasting topical treatment that doesn't only kill adult fleas. It breaks the whole infestation cycle by targeting eggs and larvae too, so the next generation never hatches — in your cat's coat or in your carpet.
For cats & kittens 8 weeks and older, weighing 1.5 lbs or more.
Full ingredient and material breakdown, sourcing region, and third-party testing notes are printed on the packaging and listed here at launch.
Measure at the widest point and size up if you land between two sizes. Free exchanges within 30 days if the fit is wrong.
Free shipping on orders over $49, otherwise a flat $4.99. Most orders arrive in 2–5 business days. Unused items can be returned for 30 days.
Product details
About this item
- Kills every flea life stage — adult fleas, flea eggs and flea larvae, so an infestation can't rebuild itself
- Kills ticks and chewing lice — including ticks that may transmit Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis
- Waterproof — stays effective after bathing, water immersion or sunlight exposure
- Two active ingredients — fipronil kills adults, (S)-methoprene stops eggs and larvae developing
- Gentle enough for kittens — approved from 8 weeks, and safe for breeding, pregnant and nursing cats
- No prescription needed — one easy spot-on application per month
Why cat parents choose Frontline Plus
Breaks the flea cycle
Adults, eggs and larvae all get hit — the reason infestations stop coming back instead of just pausing.
Tick & lice defence
Kills all tick life stages plus chewing lice, protecting indoor and outdoor cats alike.
Waterproof formula
Once dry (24 hours), grooming, bathing and rainy adventures won't wash it off.
Safe for kittens
Cleared for kittens from 8 weeks and 1.5 lbs, and for breeding, pregnant or nursing queens.
Six months of protection in one box
Each box contains 6 applicators. One application covers your cat for a full 30 days — half a year of cover, no repeat ordering.
How it works
Frontline Plus is a dual-action formula. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles, then releases steadily onto the coat — which is why one dose keeps working for weeks.
| Fipronil — kills adult fleas, ticks and chewing lice | 9.8% |
| (S)-methoprene — insect growth regulator; stops eggs and larvae developing | 11.8% |
How to apply
- Open the applicator. Lift and remove the plastic tab, peel back the foil, then hold the applicator upright with the foil side facing you and snap the tip.
- Find the spot. Part your cat's hair between the shoulder blades until you can see skin — somewhere they can't turn around and lick.
- Apply. Place the tip just above the skin and squeeze the entire contents into a single spot. Apply directly to skin, not on top of the coat.
- Let it dry. Avoid touching the treated area until it's fully dry.
- Repeat every 30 days for continuous, year-round protection.

Frequently asked questions
Fipronil begins killing fleas within hours of application. You may notice fleas rising to the top of the coat as they die, which is a sign it is working rather than a sign of a new infestation.

Most treatments only kill adult fleas. This one pairs fipronil for adults with S-methoprene to stop eggs and larvae developing, so the next generation never hatches in the coat or your carpet.
